Voluntary Sector Children's Services Forum

  • The Voluntary Sector Children's Services forum is Fife's longest established third sector forum. It is well attended by a range of providers of all sizes from across Fife. It's full membership comes together annually at a large event and the Executive Group, made up of the representatives sitting on each of the strategic groups related to children and young people, meets 6-8 times per year.

The role of the Voluntary Sector Children's Services Forum is to provide opportunities for those organisations involved in providing services to and for children and young people to come together to share and exchange experience and information and to provide mutual support. The Forum supports the development and strengthening of the third sector so it can influence statutory policy, practice developments and contribute to, and participate in, the Community Planning agenda.

The Forum seeks to participate fully in the Community Planning process as it affects children and young people and will work towards ensuring the third sector is represented on all appropriate bodies.

For more information about the Forum please contact Corinna Crawford.
