    Hours: Part time 
    Salary: £26,172 per annum pro rata
    Location: Kirkcaldy, with travel throughout Fife

     

    The Employability Development Facilitator will work in partnership with colleagues, individuals, and families from international communities to:

    • Prepare for, and facilitate, a series of interactive workshops and provide information in relation to the world of work and employment in Scotland
    • Empower people to develop confidence and make decisions about their future and support them to improve their ability to communicate effectively with support services
    • Coordinate logistics, facilities, safety, and security equipment, staffing, and volunteer resources in conjunction with the Management Team
    • Keep accurate records of participants and their journey through the workshop, ensuring all information is up-to-date to track individual progress
    • A driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable for the role

    The Employability Development Facilitator is responsible for delivering group workshops to individuals from migrant and refugee backgrounds across Fife. The post holder will work with Area Coordinators and Senior Management to plan, organise, and coordinate events and activities in the local area.

    The Employability Development Facilitator will be empathetic and understanding and be able to build and maintain trust within a group setting and keep the groups focused and motivated to complete the workshops and build their skills and knowledge of the world of work in Scotland.
