    Link Academy will deliver Step Onan interactive pre-employability and wellbeing programme for 16–19 year olds. The programme is delivered by LinkLiving in partnership with Raith Rovers Community Foundation. 

    Participants will have the opportunity to work on self-development, improve mental health, and gain employability skills with the help of a dedicated project worker and local employers.

    Step On will focusses on three main areas:

    1. Personal development – participants will build skills for life, become more independent, and work towards a community project.
    2. Mental health and resilience - a range of mental health sessions will be delivered via group work to help boost confidence and low mood. Raith Rovers CF will lead a variety of sporting activities to promote physical fitness, leadership, and coaching skills.
    3. Pre-employment support – participants will have access to support with employability skills. Including CV, application, and interview skills. They can also complete the SCQF Level 4 Employability Award which will help with preparation for employment. There will also be visits to local employers, who will be on hand to strengthen employability awareness.

    Session Details 

    The next cohort is due to begin on Monday 20 May 2024 and will run for 12 weeks.

    All sessions are fun and interactive to allow young people to develop themselves and work on their strengths. 

    Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout. 

    Date: Every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (one-to-one employability support will be offered to participants on Fridays)
